Mountain Lumber Co.
Mountain Lumber's Reclaimed Flooring selection presents a green solution, featuring antique heart pine, oak, chestnut, and other hardwoods salvaged from historic structures slated for demolition. These rare and beautiful antique woods are unlike anything available today. Every piece of reclaimed wood is hand-selected for its richness in history, character, and beauty, then transformed into antique wood flooring and beams of unparalleled beauty.
They believe every floor should be unique, featuring their Harvest Flooring as a prime example of a green environmental solution. We begin with a wide selection of hardwoods harvested from responsibly managed forests. Next, Mountain Lumber’s expert craftsmen create handmade surfaces that can transform any wood floor into a custom-made masterpiece. Finally, they offer in-house color matching to create any desired look—from a centuries-old country oak to an ultra-modern whitewash.

Wecork
At a high level, cork is sustainable, healthy, acoustic, insulating, and comfortable. WECORK loves utilizing this naturally wonderful material in our products, and we hope you’ll come to love it too – not only for its natural beauty but also for it’s natural benefits!
Quiet and Acoustic
Cork’s numerous air cells enhance acoustic benefits, offering effective sound resistance both above and below the floor. Cork is an efficient material to muffle the sounds of children playing in an upper room or to reduce the echo typically associated with other hard surface floors in a media room.
Warm and Insulating
The cellular structure of cork provides thermal insulation, preventing cold transfer from the subfloor. Cork performs exceptionally well in basements and in applications over slab or pier and beam foundations.
Soft and Comfortable
Cork contains about 200 million enclosed air cells per cubic inch, providing resilience and comfort underfoot. Walking on cork feels like walking on air, so incorporating cork into a room enhances comfort.
Environmentally Friendly
Cork is a 100% renewable resource, made from the bark of the cork oak tree. Skilled workers carefully strip the bark every nine years, during which time the tree regenerates its bark for a new harvest. We never cut down the tree!
Hypoallergenic and Anti-Fungal
Cork trees coat themselves in suberin (a sappy substance) to protect against mold, mildew, and insects while the bark regrows after harvest. This suberin becomes part of the cork, generating exceptional natural anti-fungal and hypoallergenic properties. Consequently, cork flooring is beneficial for anyone sensitive to mold and mildew or who has allergies.

Sisal rugs by Stanton
Sisal rugs are crafted from natural plant fibers. Similar to jute, coir, and hemp rugs, they provide durability and resilience that many synthetic materials do not possess. Both strong and beautiful, sisal rugs can serve as a lasting addition to a living room, bedroom, office, or hallway due to their unique advantages.
There are numerous benefits to choosing a sisal area rug instead of synthetic carpet materials. Sisal is naturally stain-resistant, eliminating the need for chemical treatments around your pets or children. Additionally, it does not accumulate static electricity, unlike the experience we often have with carpets on dry, windy days. Sisal rugs are also quite durable and are less likely to compress or show wear patterns compared to wall-to-wall carpeting. We carry Stanton along with other manufacturers of sisal rugs. Today's designs are as eclectic as the homes in which they are used.
